Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the services that make Amnia work:
- Stripe, to take payment and manage your subscription.
- HighLevel, which hosts this site, our order form and our email.
- Meta, which receives advertising events. See the section below.
These providers are based outside Hong Kong, including in the United States, so your information is transferred internationally. Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies to you, those transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
Advertising and the Meta pixel
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. Our pages carry the Meta pixel, and we send Meta server-side events, so that we can tell which adverts lead to subscriptions. This can include a hashed version of your email address. It lets Meta match the event to an account without us sending your address in readable form.
You can control this through your Meta account settings, through your browser, and by declining non-essential cookies where we ask.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the site and checkout to function, and analytics and advertising cookies that we use to measure our adverts. Necessary cookies cannot be switched off. You can block or delete the rest through your browser settings.
How long we keep it
- Account and subscription records: while you are a subscriber, then seven years, to meet accounting and tax requirements.
- Support emails: two years after the conversation ends.
- Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe, then we keep a suppression record so we do not email you again.
- Technical and advertising data: up to two years.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time.
Email [email protected] and we will respond within thirty days. You will never be charged for making a request, and we will never treat you differently for making one.
If you are in the UK you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. If you are in the EU you can complain to your national data protection authority. In Hong Kong, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data.
Children
Amnia is sold to adults. The subscriber is the customer, not the child. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
We use providers that encrypt data in transit and at rest, and we limit who can see your information to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and email you if the change materially affects you.
